Your Card will automatically activate once you receive your first deposit.
You can however activate your card by sending an SMS. SMS the word ACTIVATE followed by a space and the last 4 digits of your card number to 31571.
You will receive an SMS to confirm that your card has been activated. If you dont get this SMS then your card is NOT Active. Contact us to assist. Charges for SMS activation will apply.
Your card is linked to a bank account. Anyone can deposit money into your account by using your account number and the branch code as reflected on your Confirmation of Bank Account document. If you do not have a copy of this document please contact the Payaccsys Contact Centre to request a copy: support@payaccsys.com, 010-593-4800.
To change or reset your pin contact the Call Center on 011 207 1600. Select option 2 and follow the instructions. You will receive a confirmation SMS showing your new pin.
- SMS the word BALANCE to 31571 from your registered mobile number. You will receive an sms with the balance on your card. (Fees apply)
- Register for Mobile banking – USSD.
- Dial *120*1135# from your phone.
- Select Option 1 to “Register”
- Enter your ID number when prompted
- Enter the last 4 digits of your card number when prompted
- You will receive a pin for Mobile banking, this will be different to your Card pin, remember it.
- Now start a new session by dialing *120*1135#
- You will be asked for your Mobile Banking pin, not your Card pin.
- Enter your mobile banking pin
- Next you will be asked for the last 4 digits of your card number, enter this number.
- There will be a menu where you can select to view your Balance.
- Register for Online Banking here
You can withdraw money at any ATM or to save on fees, withdraw money at a Point of Sale (Till Point). Just ask the teller for a Cash Back.
If you have a Savvy or a Guru Card you can register for Online Banking and make payments to family and friends. You cannot make payments if you have a Smart Card.
Please contact the Payaccsys Contact Centre on 010-593-4800 or if your employer issued your card, ask them to change your number on the Payaccsys Portal.

Once logged on go to the menu option “Cards” then go to “Statements”.
You can also activate Monthly Statements to be sent to your email address we have on record. Once you are logged in on Online Banking go to Notification settings, change the option at Monthly Statements > Email Notifications to Yes. If we do not have an email address on record then we will need to assist you with this step. You can either contact the Payaccsys Contact Centre on 010-593-4800 or ask the employer who issued your card to assist.
What is Mobile Banking:
Mobile banking is a convenient way to view your Account Balance and Statements.
You don’t need Data or Airtime. A Small fee will be deducted from your account balance.
Register for Mobile banking – USSD.

We can assist you in replacing your card. If your employer issued your card, ask them to give us a call. If you no longer work for the same employer, then phone the Payaccsys Contact Centre on 010-593-4800. Replacement fees will be charged.
Yes you can. You can start off with a Smart Card. For this card you only need your Passport or Asylum Seeker Document. If you have a valid work permit or temporary residence permit you can upgrade to a Savvy or Guru Card.
